SHANDON TRAVEL IS CELEBRATING 50 YEARS!
In 1974, Michael Doorley opened his very first Shandon Travel outlet on Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork, employing just one other travel agent. Over the next 50 years, Shandon Travel has expanded and opened additional locations in Bantry and Clonakilty, with a combined team of 20 dedicated to helping you plan your perfect holiday. Our HQ remains in Cork city centre, all under one roof on the Grand Parade (just opposite the English Market).

Your Cruise Expert Team, Led by Ken
With cruise specialists in all shops as well as a dedicated Cruise Centre located in Cork city, we have all the expertise you need. An industry veteran, our cruise expert Ken has over 25 years of experience. He's cruised approximately 30 times, including in the Caribbean, South America, Canada, the United States, around the Mediterranean, to the Norwegian Fjords and more.
Ken's expertise and knowledge leading the Shandon Travel Cruise Team will ensure our clients have the best cruise experience from start to finish. AGED 18-35? OUR SAYIT TRAVEL TEAM ARE HERE TO HELP YOU EMBRACE THE WORLD.
Our SAYIT Travel team are our specialists in travel aimed at 18-35. Give back with a volunteer programme, or hop a flight with our great value special air fares. Full-time students can spend the summer in the USA with our J1 Student Visa, while our Camp USA programme is open to all suitable applicants 18-28, not just students.
Our SAYIT team is led by Anna, who has been with us for 15 years. Just back from a summer in San Diego, Eva is here to answer your J1 questions. Katie is our Camp USA specialist, having spent two summers as a camp counsellor in Michigan.
